About the project

Signing a contract The State Directorate of Water Utilities / Ministry of Municipalities, at the date of January 13th 2005 for supplying mechanical equipment and exciting the water project of Affak –/ Al-Badeer

with the capacity of 30,000 m3 /hour it was agreed in the contract that our company is to supply mechanic and electrical equipment,and transport-pipes and to execute all the civil work for the project.

The project is carried out in Al- Diwanya governorate.

The project consists the following:

- Primary crude water pump station on the Hilla river.

- A clarification and sterilizing station which males the water consumable for human.

- Clean water pumping station.

- Secondary pump station.

- Storage reservoirs for the villages benefiting from the project.

- Transport pipes 36 km long.

Presently our company is preparing the mechanical and electrical equipments and the transferring pipes that belong to an international project (Uorop) which has opened LC with an Italian company, Ecomachane, french company, Saint-Gobrin for transferring pipes (Dictile) ,a German company ,Aldos, and Grundfos company for pumpings.

Where he attended Mr. Riad Ghareeb Minister of Municipalities and Public Works opening ceremony of the water project Afak in the province of Diwaniya, in the presence of each of the following provincial governor and other senior members in the province and Eng port of the project and Managing Director of the Company Khazer General Trading and Contracting, and many of the characters

As the minister cut the ribbon opening and the beginning of an expression of exhilaration and prosperity, good, blessing and joy of the people of Diwaniya with the project which serve them

The project won the admiration of the audience the good in implementation and the efficiency and quality of work and being the largest project of drinking water feeds the southern region of Iraq and the Minister gave a speech in which he expressed his feelings toward the project and being the largest projects that feed the region of southern Iraq.

The Minister's letter of thanks and appreciation to the company and its managing director Khazir to all employees on the success of this project and in appreciation of their efforts to work well in performance, dedication and speed of delivery and to ensure that the scheduled time for them.
